What People Bring to The Business

There have been many blog posts and studies about how great people appear like a valuable asset to a team. So let’s all assure one more time about the apparent value of human factor to an enterprise:

  • They execute detailed missions and make sure things conform to the strategic plan.
  • They exchange and leverage the top-notch ideas by different means based on the self-capability
  • They form a talent pool of culture and skillset

Ever seen the term Human Factor Is The Key To Success?

Guys, they meant every word.

People-unlocks-the-potential.

In Dwarves Woodland

If you are a Dwarf, you must have seen the blog post The Unconventional written by our CEO.

It reveals the way we opt for the people who eventually fill up the gang. Or, in a broader context, is to enlarge this firm in the most possibly fantastic way. That starts with those who match with the engineering-driven culture. It’s the mix of unconventional spirit and the will to do things right.

At Dwarves Foundation, we appreciate every piece of work you aim to deliver. It’s more about what you can bring to the table, rather than the hours you spend sitting at the office, which is why Remote Working is a part of our working style and is promoted for the sake of self-management.

We live by the code that it’s the result that matters. Therefore, whether that you are on the 2nd day of your internship or a C-level manager who has piloted this firm for over 5 years, once your solution is what best for the case, you win. We trust that people should be vested to declare their ideas. Once people have come up with something, they’ve got their interest in it, and God knows what they are willing to turn that idea into action.

We reserve Friday every week as a time to look back and wrap up what we have done for the last 5 days. Sometimes, when the project meeting doesn’t take up too much time, we turn it into Investment Time. The Dwarves are encouraged to utilize Investment Time in any way they prefer. It could be a time to finish their book, writing the last few sentences of the blog post they’re about to publish or discuss on a new topic, work with new tools, or nurture the skills through tech knowledge seminars.

We call it Investment because when we all expect to get a return on that. And sometimes, a return means a better improvement in our Dwarves’s competencies.

2019 Dwarves of The Year

Dwarves of The Year is an annual award we hold to appreciate the sheer contribution of our Dwarves. Each year, a number of Dwarves is elected via team voting and assessment from the Operation Team. Dwarves of The Year is how we send our gratitude to our people, to value their development and reward their performance in many ways.

It gladdens us to know that 2019 holds more Honorable Dwarves compared to last year. In this year’s election, besides 2 Outstanding and 2 Honorable Craftsmen from the Engineering Team, we are delighted to have 2 more Honorable Wizards from the Design Team.
